Esv. (Dr.) Bolarinde J. Patunola-Ajayi, the Principal Partner, J. Ajayi Patunola & Co is the President of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) and also the Chairman, Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN), Lagos State Chapter. He is a seasoned professional who has distinguished himself with immeasurable achievement in the field of Estate Surveying and Valuation. He has also contributed immensely to the development of Real Estate profession in Nigeria and beyond.

In building his professional proficiency, he worked with several reputable establishments in Nigeria including; Onakanmi & Partners, Estate Department of NNPC, Knight Frank and Rutley (Nigeria), now Knight Frank.  He founded J.Ajayi Patunola and Co. in 1989 and remains the Founder/Principal Partner of the Company till date.
In the forefront of Leadership, Dr. Patunola-Ajayi had served in various capacities ranging from being a student representative, religious leader and Professional Practitioner.  He has served as publicity secretary of the NIESV, Lagos State Branch between 1988 and1990, an Assistant Secretary of the same Branch between 1990 and 1992 and secretary of the NIESV Lagos State Branch between 1992 and 1994. He was an ex-officio and Chairman Mandatory Continuous Professional Development (MCPD) between 1994 and 1996 of the Branch. He was also a member of National Education Committee between 2004 and 2005. He was elected the Vice Chairman of the Lagos State Branch of the NIESV in 2005, and the Chairman between 2007 and 2009.
Furthermore, Dr. Patunola-Ajayi has continued to serve in both private and public sectors being an erudite scholar. He is a lecturer at Realtor Institute, the Author/Publisher of realestate environment a fast growing Real Estate Environment monthly Magazine. He was a member of the Lagos State Rent Tribunal between 1997 and 2010. He was also a member of committee on Lagos State Physical Planning between 2007 and 2009 and member of Lagos State Land Use Charge Tribunal. He equally served as an external examination and moderator in the Departments of Estate Management, Yaba College of Technology and Lagos State Polytechnic (2011-2014). He has delivered several papers both home and abroad at conferences, seminars and workshops.
Dr. Patunola-Ajayi has received many awards and recognitions both within and outside real estate profession home and abroad. He is well travelled. He is a member of the prestigious Ikoyi Club 1938. He loves reading, writing, music, watching documentary on nature, and exercise. He is happily married to Mrs. Olayinka Linda Patunola-Ajayi, FNIVS, RSV,MRICS and blessed with children.
